As the old saying goes “location is everything”.  Well, it is certainly correct.
The Wolf Den is located in western Wyoming about 40 minutes south of
Jackson in stunning Star Valley Wyoming, on highway 89 between Thayne
and Etna.  Star Valley is renowned for the spectacular beauty of its
landscape, the abundance of wildlife, and the numerous outdoor recreational
activities from camping and kayaking in the warmer months to snow
machining and skiing in the winter months.

Every beautiful season offers opportunities
to enjoy recreational sports and the great
outdoors.  Star Valley borders the Bridger-
Teton National forest on the eastern and
southern sides. On the other side of the valley
to the west, is the Caribou National Forest in
Idaho. On the northern tip of the valley, is the
Targhee National Forest. The entire Star
Valley area is completely surrounded by
national forest.

The Wolf Den is open year round to serve
our customers who either live and work here in
the valley and those who are vacationing here.

The Wolf Den Cabins are located near the main
groomed trail for snowmobiling and cross country
skiing. There are hundreds of trails to explore.
There are a hundred miles of trails in Idaho and
about 400 miles of trails in Wyoming, all right out
the front door of your cabin. Come, and park your
sled by your cabin door and enjoy the beauty and
splendor of Star Valley, Wyoming. From your cabin
door you can see Bridger, Targhee and Caribou
National Forests.

The Star Valley area trail system came in as one of
the top 15 snowmobile locations in the West, rated
by SnoWest magazine, in their annual survey. Star
Valley Wyoming ranked among the best in terms of
trail availability, scenery and variety of terrain.
